MAINTENANCE SHED GRANT FUNDING
The Board of Management of the Rockingham Golf Club are pleased to announce that the club’s application for an Infrastructure Capital Grant from the City of Rockingham has been successful.
The grant will assist in the construction of maintenance shed, which will replace the existing sheds that have reached end of life. The City of Rockingham has approved a grant of $41,002 which will assist the club in the construction of the new shed and fenced compound area.
Under the terms of our current lease agreement with the City of Rockingham the club is obligated to maintain the course to a specified standard. These new facilities will greatly benefit the club as our greens staff will have an improved and safe environment by which to conduct their day-to-day operations.
We thank the City of Rockingham for their contribution and see this as a partnership by which both parties are actively involved in the preservation of this valuable community asset.
